A fine Akasaka tsuba of arrow heads with boar's eye sukashi, 7.47 cm x 7.46 cm x 5.9 mm. Very good color and condition. strong surface tekotsu. In a custom fitted box, and with NBTHK Hozon kanteisho.
The return of the prodigal. This tsuba came out of Japan some four years ago, at 150,000 yen (about $1,850 at today's exchange rate, though about $1,347 at that time). Having changed hands several times, it has now come back to me, and, thus it is being offered to the next transient owner.
