An early iron tsuba of a dragon in the rain. 7.96 cm x 7.59 cm x 4 mm. Granular tekotsu on the face. Good color and forged plate. The shakudo rain dragon crawling over the mimi has remnants of gold utori. My guess is that it is from one of the southern provinces and Momoyama to early Edo.
