Jingo Style Dragon Presentation Tsuba

A large presentation tsuba done in the style of Higo Jingo. Excellent detail work on the dragon and vajra. All the high ares of the tsuba are done in well patinaed silver. The seppa ware on the seppadai shows shiny silver. 9.106 cm x 8.712 cm x 4.75 mm. Several things set this apart from being a Jingo work. The head is wrong, as is the body, and the silver is not nunome. It is likely Kumagai (Edo Higo) work from the 19th century. $2,200
