A large later generation Jingo tsuba with a beautifully sculpted shinchu water dragon. 8.57 cm x 7.85 cm x 4.7 mm. A rich dark plate with fine granular tekotsu, with a large shinchu dragon and what appears to be flowing smoke or clouds on the back. Unlike so many of these that have been over cleaned, the shinchu retains its original patina. Shakudo sekigane filling one of the hitsuana.
