Silver inlaid iron abumi both stirrups signed Tomosada Saku. Floral pattern on the face and sides, a geometric pattern on the bottoms. Some areas compromised by age and use. Haynes list five Tomosada using these kanji, four of whom are early nineteenth century. The other was an artist from Hitachi province who was active around 1625. That would seem the logical choice, unless this in an unrecorded smith. $900
