Shakudo nanako with gold dragons and blue black shakudo clouds in taka zogan. Large well detailed gold dragon menuki. High quality white same, with new tsuka maki. This is Mino Kanetsugu from Eisho jidai (February 1504 - August 1521). Like the Oei period (July 1394 - April 1428), this was a period of the revival of the sword smith's art, primarily in Mino and Bizen. This smith is illustrated or referenced in five standard Japanese texts on swords. $7,550
