A well mounted Shinshinto katana, ubu, mumei, attributed to Keishinsai Naomasa, in period koshirae. Shinogizukure, toriizori, iroi mune, chu kissaki. Hawatare: 2 shaku 2 sun 9 bu (69.69 cm / 27.44"). Motohaba: 2.98 cm. Sakihaba: 2.12 cm. Kasane: 7.1 mm. Hako choji midare, togare, nioi deki, deep ashi iri, bright habuchi, nado. Tight itame hada.
Black leather tsukamaki, well patinaed copper and gold menuki. Higo iron fuchi-kashira, and kojiri ensuite decorated with a bee, butterfly, and dragon fly in silver. The intact saya is red and black stippled lacquer. The Kaga zogan tsuba has silver butterflies, and gold lines indicating either water or breeze.
