A large tsuba signed Nobuiye. 8.58 cm x 7.82 c 3.7 mm. Wonderfully sculpted metal; great color; condition; and masterful incorporation of positive and negative images. As per Robert Haynes, this is the work of Myochin Nobuiye, active between 1650 and 1700, and noted for doing these folded corners. $850
