An ubu katana signed, Rakuyo Ju Shinano no Kami Fujiwara Kunihiro Tsukuru. Shinogizukure, iroi mune, chu kissaki. Hawatare: 2 shaku 9 bu 6 rin (63.5 cm or 25"). Motohaba: 2.8 cm. Sakihaba: 1.92 cm. Kasane: 6 mm. Chu suguba ko midare, some hataraki in the lower portion, ha nie and nie strings like kinsuji and inazuma but not so bright. The habuchi is soft and wide reminiscent of Shinkai. There are some gunome and ashi iri, nado. The jigane is a tight itame with some chikei, some openings, the worst pictured below. New shirasaya and very good toned copper habaki. Never submitted to shinsa, but in my opinion that would be a waste of time and money. This is an excellent blade for the new collector or martial artist.
