A koto Mihara naginatanaoshi.  Hawatare: 1 shaku 9 sun 3 bu (58.48 cm or 23.02").  Sori: 6.28 bu (1.9 cm or .75")   Motohaba:  3.18 cm.  Sakihaba: 2.86 cm.  Kasane: 2 mm at the mune.  Kasane at the shinogi: 7.7 mm.  Chu suguba ko midare in ko nie deki.  Soft, wide habuchi; fine ashi iri forming ko-choji, some small togare.  There is ha nie, fine sunagashi, kinsuji, nado. The jigane is itame nagare mixed with mokume, hada tatsu, profuse chikei.  There are shiraki reflections.  There are slight tateware in the shinogiji, commonly seen in swords with masame construction in the shinogi ji (I have had juyo blades with this feature). The boshi is ko-maru with very slight hakikaki. O-suriage, mumei, sujikai yasurimei.  NTHK kanteisho 74 points, the blade dates Temmon gurai (around 1532 - 1555).  Mounted in shirasaya, silver foil habaki.  The polish is older, and there are a few minor scuffs.
