An ubu, mumei shinto wakizashi in shirasaya with companying koshirae.  Hawatare: 1 shaku 4 sun 5 bu (43.94 cm /17.9"). Motohaba: 3.02 cm.  Sakihaba:  2.14 cm.  Kasane: 5.8 mm.  Sanbonsugi midare in ko-nie deki.   The jigane is an itame, with masame in the shinogiji.  There is one open spot near the habaki, as shown below.  This is something closely related to Kanemoto school.  Good recent polish.  NBTHK kanteisho to Echizen Seki.

Mounted in shirasaya with accompanying koshirae.  The tsuka is black tsukamaki, recently wrapped; the fuchi-kashira are Nara gilt nanako with shishi; the menuki are Mino style flowers.  The tsuba is a good iron sukashi of a sailing ship.  The saya is a modern replacement.
