An o-suriage shinto wakizashi.   Hawatare:  1 shaku 8 sun 6 bu 6 rin.  (55.96cm / 22.03).  Motohaba:  2.53 cm.  Sakihaba:  1.98 cm.  Kasane:  6 mm.  Shinogizukure, iroi mune, chu kissaki.   Gunome, notare midare, togare, yo, ko-nie, sunagashi, ashi iri, nado.  The jigane is a moist itame with chikei, with masame in the shinogiji.   Mounted in shirasaya with a one piece copper habaki.   The habaki is snug, and I did not want to force it to take the pictures. The blade is clean, however, there is a scuff line from rubbing in the shirasaya.    This is an excellent blade for the new collector, martial artist, or a collector who wants to have the saya repaired and the polish touched up.
