A massively strong gendai tachi signed nijimei Nagamitsu. Hawatare: 2 shaku 1 sun 5 bu. (65.14 cm / 25.65"). Motohaba: 3.35 cm. Sakihaba: 2.45 cm. Kasane: 7.6 mm. Shinogizukure, iroi mune, chu kissaki. Nioi deki, gunome choji midare, saka gunome toward the kissaki. The jigane is a moist itame. The boshi is komaru with a medium long kaeri. Ref. He signed, Nagamitsu; Nagamitsu Saku; Ichiryusai Nagamitsu; Ichihara Ichirusai Nagamitsu; Bizen Kuni Ju Ichiryusai Saku; nado. He was an army commissioned swordsmith for the Osaka Rikugun Zoheisho (Osaka army arsenal). The cutting ability of his swords rank amoung the best produced during the Showa period.
