An ubu wakizashi signed, Hoki no Kami Fujiwara Nobuteru (sandai Nobutaka).  Hawatare 1 shaku 5 sun 2 bu (46.06 cm / 18.13").  Motohaba:   2.73 cm. Sakihaba:   1.92 cm.  Kasane:   7.8 mm.  Brilliant chu-suguba ko-midare in nie deki, a long string of louse nie mirroring the ha, kinsuji, nado.  The jigane is a brilliant itame hada tatsu, jinie, chikei, nado.  New polish, shirasaya, niju gold foil habaki, sayagaki by Tanobe Michihiro.  Nbthk Tokubetsu Hozon kanteisho.  Rated chu josaku in Nihon Toko Jiten - Shinto Hen, by Fujishiro.  Pictured in Shinto Taikan.  alued at 3,500,000 yen in Toko Taikan by Tokuno. 

Nobuteru is an alternate name for the third Hoki no Kami Nobutaka who worked around Enpo jidai (September 1673 - September 1681).  He is an Owari smith, and received the title of Hoki no Kami in Kanbun gonen (1665).  There was great demands for his works during Kambun and there are many daisaku made with his father.  $4,800
