An o-suriage wakizashi with kin zogan mei to Morishige. Shinogizukure, iroi mune, chu kissaki, o-suriage. Hawatare: 1 shaku 4 sun 1 bu (47.73 cm. / 16.82"). Motohaba: 2.66 cm. Sakihaba: 1.87 cm. Kasane: 4.9 mm. Nioi deki gunome, choji, hako midare; ashi iri, yo, nado. Itame slightly nagare, hadatatsu, gunome choji midare utsure, nado. Mounted in shirasaya, needing a habaki.
Sandai Omiya Morishige, working in Eikyo (1429 - 1441), with a sharpness rating of wazamono. Double circle in Nihonto Meikan; 3,500,000 yen in Toko Taikan, which generalizes the rest of the generations; Rated Chujosaku in Nihon Toko Jiten - Koto Hen. NTHK kanteisho from 1985, rating the blade 73 points. Note: Yoshikawa Sensei is strict on condition, so the o-suriage and the fact that it needs a touch up polish impacted that rate.
Although he was the third Morishige, his linage is from Tomomitsu, Moromitsu, and Morimitsu.
