A mumei sankaku su yari in fresh Japanese polish and shirasaya. Point: 4 sun 2 bu 6.1 rin (12.25 cm or 4.82") Tang: 6 sun 6 bu 9.9 rin (20.3 cm or 7.99"). Hiro suguba ko notare midare, gunome, choji, ha nie, kinsuji, ashi, yo, nado. Itame hada with ji nie. Red lacquer in the hi. The nakago is slightly suriage. Because of the expense of shinsa, this has never been submitted. My best guess is that it is from early Edo.
