A small Shoami tsuba with a shakudo rim. Gold nunome cherry blossoms and basket pattern. Mid-Edo. Suitable for collecting or mounting. 6.32 cm x 5.96 cm. 4.9 mm thick at the rim. A mystery signature, I can not this kanji with the man radical on the top. If we move the man radical to the left side, the kanji would be an alternate writing for sen (1,000). If that is the case, the signature would read Senju. I can not find any reference to this artist,. Robert Haynes is currently researching this name. $150
