An o-suriage wakizashi attributed to the second generation Soshu Yasuharu, working around Tenbun (1532-1555). Hirazukure, slight sakizori, mitsumune, narrow kasane. Hawatare: 1 shaku 3 sun 6 bu (41.21 cm / 16.225"). Motohaba: 3.01 cm. Kasane: 2.31 mm. Shinogizukure, iroi mune. Nie deki high o-gunome, togareba, hotsure, ha nie, kinsuji, muneyaki, nado. Mokume and o-mokume, with masa toward the mune. Ha nie, chikei, gifu chikei, nado.
Gold tsuka ito shakudo fuchi-kashira with a daikon in sliver and gold. Blue-black shakudo menuki. The tsuba is shakudo with a textured surface. The saya is multicolored, multilayered red and black lacquer with gold foil. Horn kurikata. The habaki and seppa are gold foil.
