Frequently refered to as Tenbo or Tenpo, a classic Tenho tsuba signed, Yamashiro kuni / Tenho. Great condition and color. 8.15 cm x 7.82 cm x 3.9 mm. Haynes lists Tenho smiths as working from 1575 - 1800 in Bitchu province. This is an important signature reference because it places at least one artist as working in Yamashiro.
