Tosho Tsuba

An early Muromachi tosho tsuba, made from meteor iron. Almost the entire plate is Martinsite. Interestingly, Robert. Haynes, 'I have never seen this design before'. 8.44 cm x 8.51 cm x 2.7 mm I was reluctant to post the papers, because their dating is so obviously wrong, calling it beginning of Edo period. Haynes' comment was laughter, and a correction to early Muromachi. So in any case here are the papers, the buyer can do with them what they wish.
