An  o-suriage wakizashi from the Muromachi judai. Hirazukure, sakizori, iroi mune, bohi. 1 shaku 5 bu 2. 79 rin (46.3 cm / 18.228")  Motohaba: 3.3 cm.   Kasane:  6 mm. Chu suguba in konie deki.  Itame hada.  Newer polish, copper habaki, shirasaya,  The shirasaya is not made of anoki.  Never submitted to shinsa, verbal identification from Tanobe Sensei.

Originatingg in Yamato, they moved to Etchu province. Muromachi Uda school swords are highly regarded for their practical design,  robust forging and distinctive jigane.   They flourished from Nambokucho throughmid-Muromachi, with notable smiths like Kunimune producing strong functional blades.  Their tight itame hada and suguba hamon were noted for their reliable cutting ability.               $1,150.
