A large scalloped moku tsuba signed Yamashiro Nishi ___ Ju / Umetada. 8.57 cm x 7.96 cm x 4.2 mm. Very dense plate with small granular tekotsu on the face, giving the plate a somewhat grey tone. This is early enough that the work is still classically Umetada, before the school morphed into Shoami style work. $650
