Some translation problems needed to be corrected, now listed again.1x

A nicely mounted o-suriage Yasumitsu from the Bunnan period  (1444 - 1449) katana.  Signed atobori, Bizen Kuni, and gakumei*, Yasumitsu.  O-suriage, Entoku san nen go gatsu go hi (May 5, 1491).  Shortened by Takakawa Tomoshige.     Hawatare: 2 shaku 3 sun 3 bu 5 rin   (70.9 cm / 27.9")  Motohaba: 2.98 cm.  Sakihaba:  1.96 cm.  Kasane: 6.6 mm.  Nioi deki, choji, gunome, saka choji, thick bright habuchi, ashi iri, nado.   Itame nagare hada.  There is a bo utsure.  Recent polish. The date comports to the time of the third generation Yasumitsu.  NTHK NPO kanteisho.  

The tsuka is blue tsuka maki with fine shakudo nanako fuchi-kashira with gold dragons in shakudo clouds.  The menuki are long  water dragons.  The late tsuba is thick iron of dragons and clouds, some piercings, one shakudo sekigane is missing. 8.16 cm x 7.23 cm x 7.9 mm.  The ribbed saya is newly made. 

*Note the papers say jishinmei which is the same as gakumei.             $8,500
