Right out of the woodwork, an ubu mumei wakizashi. Shinogizukure, iroi mune, chu kissaki. The sugata would point toward Kambun (1661-16873). Hawatare: 1 shaku 1 sun 6 bu 3 rin (50.4 cm /19.84"). Motohaba: 3.08 cm. Sakihaba: 2.22 cm. Kasane: 7.96 mm. Suguba with bright and deep habuchi. An area of koichigaiba, nijuba on one side toward the point. The hada is a dead straight tight masame. Mounted in old shirasaya with a waited silver foil habaki decorated with kiku and sakura. Although a good fit, there is a significant gap between the habaki and the tsuka. If this habaki is a replacement, I have to wonder the quality of the other.
