Fu Dog Tsuba

A likely 18th or 19th century centuryunsigned shakudo tsuba of a fu dog in takazogan, katakiribori and keibori. Exceptionally black shakudo.  As per Rober Haynes, it is very unusual to see shakudo inlay on shakudo.  He added, I have no idea who made this. 7.1 cm x 7 cm x 4 mm.  Unfortunately, there are a number of scratches on the back that should be dealt with.    The back is equally black, but this lighting shows the scratches (and the reflection of the camera at the bottom).  $$1,900
