Early Goto Tsuba

A small early Goto tsuba.  Fine vertical nanako with gold chidori and sea shells.  The rim is plain shakudo, the color is a reflection of the cardboard.  7 cm x 6.3 cm x 3.5 mm. As per Robert Haynes, circa 1550 -1600.                                    $3,200
