The shibuichi is a wonderfully rich gray shibuichi, that the pictures do not do justice. The second generation Noriyuki was born in Kanda district of Edo in 1771, and died in 1852. He became a student of the first generation Noriyuki at the age of fourteen and was called Matsujiro, at seventeen he took the name Masakata. At the age of twenty-five he took the name Noriyuki, ten years after the death of the first generation Noriyuki.
