A smaller Kyoto tsuba signed as Soten. 7.03 cm x 6.55 cm x 3.7 mm at the mimi & up to 5.3 mm with raised design. An attractive tsuba, but the black patina places it as Kyoto work, not Soten. There are some condition issues on the rim, which are easily seen in these pictures. The tsuba needs some cleaning with a stiff brush to remove surface rust. Perfect for dressing up a wakizashi. $250.
