An unsigned, much repaired, sugi-nari shaped teabowl from the Momoyama period, which has fairly fluid dating depending on your historical reference (1573 - 1603, or 1613, or 1596). Suffice it to say over 400 years old. 13.97 cm x 13.97 cm. Very fine gold lacquer repair. Ex Skip Holbrook collection. Pictures do not do the bowl justice. Both the original box and replacement box have been lost. $595
