An early Muromachi iron sukashi flower, likely a mon, with a yamagane mimi. 6.62 cm x 5.95 cm. x 5 mm at the mimi, and 4.2 mm plate. Clearly intended for mounting on a large hirazukure o-tanto that were popular in early Muromachi. The small kozuka ana also bespeaks of this early period. Ref.
