Namban Tsuba

A large tsuba with certain Namban tells, the rim and the textured seppadai, but likely a Japanese production with a few Namban elements. Gold nunome on the rim, and silver nunome on the seppaadai, outlined in gold nunome. A large and interesting guard. The condition is much better than this picture would indicate. An interesting and collectable tsuba. 8.37 cm x 8.31 cm x 4.6 mm. $350
