Shoki The Daemon Quller Tsuba
TS047
A large tsuba of Shoki and the daemon on the obverse. It appears to be a combination of takabori and takazogan. The gold and silver nunome are intact. The two figureas share a sukashi mouth. 8.5 cm x 8.1 cm x 4 mm. Likely 19th century, before the Haito Edict of 1870, banning the wearing of swords. Mint condition. Unfortunately, Robert Haynes did not make an attribution. $4,500
