A well carved tsuba of a tiger and bamboo, signed nijimei Tetsutada. 6.37 cm x 6.19 cm x 4.92 mm. Good silver highlights. Tetsutada is an unrecorded artist, whose name can mean beautiful iron. As per Robert Haynes, this would have been made around 1800. $450
